8/12/2010: Busy week. Finished principal recording on "Ceremonies","Conspiracy" and
"Spark". However, since
it's now mid-summer and I still need to record vocals for
five more songs, the relase has been moved to fall, 2010.

a description of how I am using
Indian musical
concepts to establish an exotic
mood in some of the songs on the
Alexander
concept album.

The good news: work in progress will be posted here to indulge the curiosity
of anyone interested in the process of composing and recording an album.

Former bandmates Dave Calhoun (Phantasm), Jeff Weadon (Peter North)
and Tim Wilhelm (Phantasm, Jaw) finally managed to lure Jeff out of his
self-imposed retirement from performance to join
Heavy Set.
